San Ardo junior featherweight Roman Morales (10-0, 6 KOs) continued his unbeaten run through the pro ranks with a six-round unanimous decision against Santa Maria's Rufino Serrano (12-4).
After a relatively even first round that could have gone to Serrano, Morales took control of the action behind a versatile display of power, ring savvy, and a vicious body attack. As the rounds wore on, Morales felt more comfortable in the ring, switching to southpaw and continuing to rip Serrano with left hooks to the midsection.
