“DonYil’s a good boxer, but I’ve worked on my whole
game. I’m taller than he is and I have
the reach.”
“A lot of people see it as a test, but I don’t. I just see it as doing what I’ve worked on in
the gym with the Garcias in Salinas, and coming out with another win.”

MANUEL AVILA:
“In my last fight in August, I felt a lot better than I did
in July when I was coming off a back injury.
I still had a little bit of ring rust.
This time, I felt more relaxed in there.
I’ve been working on my handspeed and my offense rather than just lay
back and counterpunch.”
“I’m trying to show people I’m for real and that my record
isn’t a padded one, and fighting an experienced guy like Molina, I think if I
win it would be a good start.”
JOHN ALBERT MOLINA:
“I’m going to take him to deep waters after the third round
and take him to school.”

“I’m excited to be making my pro debut. I don’t know much about my opponent but we
sold 60 tickets, and my family and friends will be there. I’ve been training hard for this and I’ll be

[Buchanan’s] part to come in 14 pounds overweight. We’ve been working hard for my pro debut but
