A record number of entrants have descended upon Fort Carson, Colo., for the 2012 USA Boxing National Championships.
The brackets for six weight classes in the men's category were drawn Saturday, with several Northern and Central California fighters in the mix.
The top four fighters in each weight class were seeded, with Avenal lightweight Jose Ramirez and San Francisco super heavyweight LaRon Mitchell receiving top slots. San Bernardino's Edgar Alvarado was seeded second in the middleweight bracket.
