Battle at the Kennel 3 Hits San Leandro on Saturday

The Kennel Boxing Club in San Leandro will host “Battle at the Kennel 3” on Saturday starting at 1 p.m.  There will be 13 scheduled amateur bouts in all, with a quartet of matchups sticking out in particular. 

In a pair of middleweight clashes, former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver John Broussard of San Jose PAL meets David Lopez of Ty Poblete’s World Class Boxing Academy, while Joel Siapno of Kennel takes on Manuel Martinez of Yaqui Lopez’ Fat City Boxing Club of Stockton.  

Also on the card is nationally-ranked bantamweight Mario Ayala of Sacramento Dogg Pound, who faces Fresno Main Event’s Luis Ambrosio, as well as the entertaining Brandon "Dino" Adams of San Francisco's Third Street Gym, who fights USF's Sebastian Doerner in a bout that will take place between the welterweight and middleweight limits.
