One of the region's top prospects, Watsonville junior welterweight Jonathan Garcia (6-0, 5 KOs), will put his perfect record on the line against veteran Leo Martinez (15-15, 7 KOs) on TeleFutura's Solo Boxeo at midnight.
The bout will be the co-feature to Mark Salser-Rodolfo Armenta and take place at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
Garcia, a very good combination puncher who trains with Jose "Pastel" Hernandez at the Pastel Boxing Club, will be taking a step up in competition against Martinez, a Chicago resident who has lost three straight but has shared a ring with fighters like Almazbek "Kid Diamond" Raiymkulov, Francisco "Gato" Figueroa, and Eric Aiken.
