McMorrow Stops Martinez in Nine, Retains Flyweight Title

San Jose's Melissa McMorrow (8-3-3, 1 KO) earned the first stoppage win of her career, successfully defending her WBO flyweight title with a ninth-round technical knockout of Yahaira Martinez (7-4, 4 KOs) in Kissimmee, Fla.
