Sacramento's Otis Griffin dropped a 10-round unanimous decision to Otis Rosinsky at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City in a bout for the New York State light heavyweight title Wednesday night.

According to a press release from Rosinsky's promoter, DiBella Entertainment, a cut opened over Rosinsky's left eye in round one, but he weathered the storm and Griffin's "big shots from the outside" to pull out the narrow points win.

Scores were 97-93 and 96-94 for Rosinsky, who rises to 17-2, 9 KOs.  Griffin falls to 24-11-2, 10 KOs.

The fight card's proceeds benefited Hurricane Sandy victims and will air on CSN Bay Area/California at a later time to be announced.
