Fresno amateur bantamweight Gary Salazar, who is part of USA Boxing’s five-boxer contingent at the AIBA Youth World Championships in Yerevan, Armenia, this week, won his opening bout by stopping Tajikistan's Shavkatbek Negmatov at 1:21 of the third round. Salazar will now face Syria’s Ali Ghouson on Saturday afternoon.
