But Lateef Kayode isn’t just someone who looks the part. At 10-0, with only the first win out of the ten going the distance, the 27-year-old from Lagos, Nigeria, is primed for a run to the top of the cruiserweight division. Such aspirations were pipe dreams three years ago when he was sitting at a phone booth in the middle of Atlanta, fed up with boxing and all set to take the next flight back home.
