My first published boxing article is currently on the front page of MaxBoxing.com, which has been an ESPN affiliate in the past.
The article, which is the first in a two-part profile, is about a 17-year-old phenom from Phoenix named Jose Benavidez. The kid has yet to make his pro debut, but already finds himself in the middle of a bidding war between the two biggest promoters in the sport.
